Mac Merchandising was created in 2019 to fill a gap in the market. We saw that Australia’s independent supermarkets weren’t getting the specialised sales and merchandising support they deserved. While the majors were well serviced, the independents were often overlooked — and we knew that with the right focus and expertise,  the channel could thrive.

From day one, our mission has been clear: deliver tailored, hands-on solutions for brands in the independent channel. Today, we call on over 500 core IGA and independent supermarkets nationally, and reach more than 800 through our extended network.

I started Mac Merchandising with a clear vision: to build a best-in-class field team focused solely on the independent grocery channel across Australia. Today, we’re proud to have a national footprint, with over 40 dedicated merchandisers calling on the majority of the IGA network.

At Mac Merchandising, we combine national reach with local relationships, delivering results that make a real impact at shelf level and unbelievable in-store off locations / activations.

After a 20 year career in leading sales teams across some of Australia's best known FMCG companies, including, Simplot Australia, Kimberly Clark, Coca-Cola, Sonoma Baking Company and Allied Pinnacle. During this time I was able build long standing relationships with Retailers and Suppliers which opened the doors for a successful launch of Mac Merchandising in early 2020.

Today, I'm really enjoying leading the Mac Merchandising business, the team are very capable and truly care about the brands we represent, our suppliers stories mean so much to Australians, it feels special to be a part of their journey.
